1. What Is Titanium?

Titanium (Ti) is a metallic element with atomic number 22. It is a lightweight, high-strength transition metal known for its excellent corrosion resistance and chemical stability.

One of the most distinctive features of TADO cookware is its deep blue titanium cooking surface.
The blue surface is not a conventional non-stick coating.
The cookware uses a genuine TA1 titanium layer as its food-contact surface. Through TADO’s controlled surface-treatment process, the titanium surface undergoes a physical surface modification that produces its characteristic blue appearance and enhanced surface properties.
Because the blue surface is created from the titanium itself rather than by applying a conventional polymer non-stick layer, it is fundamentally different from traditional coated cookware.
